Abstract: 

Laboratory experiments were conducted in smooth trapezoidal channel with side slope 1: 1 to measure boundary force AND SHEAR stress. Preston tube is used to estimate contribution of WALL AND BED SHEAR STRESSES. Available formulas for estimation of boundary SHEAR were evaluated AND new formulas were presented. The effect of ASPECT RATIO on WALL AND BED SHEAR STRESSES was determined. Results showed that RATIO of WALL SHEAR force to total SHEAR force decreases as ASPECT RATIO increases.

Abstract: 

The effect of Welding residual STRESSES that was created in thin infill plate of steel plate SHEAR WALL system during constructional processes was studied in this research. Residual STRESSES in a welded structure is the result of the non-uniform expansion AND contraction AND plastic deformation of the weld AND surrounding base metal due to heating AND cooling cycle, during welding process, this issue could affected SPSW`s behavior. In this research ABAQUS finite element software is utilized to simulation of welding process AND steel plate SHEAR WALL behavior. Sequentially coupled thermo-elastic–plastic finite element computational procedure is developed to calculate temperature field AND welding residual STRESSES in SPSW. The result shows that residual STRESSES created in infill plates of three story steel plate SHEAR WALL with rigid beam-column connection due to welding process makes yielding load, ultimate load, stiffness, ductility AND energy absorption, decrease 1.4%, 1.26%, 7.6%, 7.3%, 3.4% respectively in model with residual STRESSES in comparison with model without residual STRESSES. Thus, the ignore of residual STRESSES effect due to welding in prospect of thin steel plate SHEAR WALLs (SPSWs) behavior is negligible.

Abstract: 

In this research, in order to investigate the effect of the piezoelectric patch which is used as a sensor or actuator in rotating flexible structures such as a helicopter blade, the free vibRATIOns of the rotating rectangular sheet with AND without the piezoelectric patch have been presented. First-order SHEAR deformation theory is considered for plate displacement AND piezoelectric field. Considering the effect of Coriolis acceleRATIOn, centrifugal acceleRATIOn AND centrifugal in-plane forces, the equations of motion are derived from Hamilton's principle AND the electromechanical couple equation is obtained from Maxwell's equation. For piezoelectric, two electrical conditions, open circuit AND closed circuit, which are used in sensors AND actuators, respectively, have been considered. The equations are discretized with the help of the numerical method of generalized differential squares AND the matrices of inertia mass, eccentricity, Coriolis AND stiffness matrix are obtained. Natural frequency values for beam AND rotating plate have been compared in Abaqus software. Also, the values obtained from the numerical solution in MATLAB have been verified with articles AND ABAQUS, which have high accuracy. The effect of parameters such as hub radius, rotation speed, sheet thickness, ASPECT RATIO, piezoelectric patch thickness AND applied voltage on the natural frequency of the system has also been investigated.

Abstract: 

The shape deformation of three bubbles with equilateral triangle arrangement continuously rising in SHEAR-thinning non-Newtonian fluids was numerically investigated using the three-dimensional volume of fluid method (3D-VOF). The shape deformation of three continuously rising bubbles was compared with that of a single bubble under consistent opeRATIOns to analyze the effect of interaction between bubbles. The influences of bubble diameter, initial bubble distance, bubble formation frequency, AND liquid rheological property on the ASPECT RATIO of the bubble were investigated. The results indicate that the ASPECT RATIO of the bubble for multi-bubble systems with greater bubble diameter, initial bubble distance, AND more intense SHEAR-thinning effect of the liquid decreases AND the shape of the bubble deforms flatter. However, as the bubble formation frequency increases, the deformation of the bubble weakens, AND the bubble ASPECT RATIO increases. In comparison with the single bubble rising freely, the ASPECT RATIO of the bubble for the multi-bubble systems is larger. Moreover, a modified model of the ASPECT RATIO of the bubble was proposed by considering the interaction between bubbles for the multi-bubble system.

Abstract: 

This paper deals with the effect of fiber ASPECT RATIO of steel fibers on SHEAR strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete deep beams loaded with SHEAR span to depth RATIO less than two using the artificial neural network technique. The network model predicts reasonably good results when compared with the equation proposed by previous researchers. The parametric study involves deep beams of M55 grade concrete with fiber volume fraction 0.5% to 2% of fiber ASPECT RATIO ranging from 50 to 100 AND longitudinal steel percentage varying from 0% to 2.5%. The analysis reveals that the fiber ASPECT RATIO also affects the SHEAR strength AND needs to be combined with fiber volume fraction.

Abstract: 

The estimation of hydraulic resistance of the flow in open channels has always faced a serious challenge because of presence of secondary currents AND vortex viscosity. Determination of contribution of flow pipes in the BED AND the WALL is faced with error, due to effects of the WALLs on the maximum velocity position. In this study, the contribution of the flow pipes in the BED AND the WALL was approximated by using conformal mapping method AND by plotting harmonic lines of current AND potentials. Then, the SHEAR STRESSES obtained from the weight of tube pipes in the BED AND the WALLs were calculated by eliminating the effect of the velocity gradient factors in the simplified results of solving the conjugation AND momentum equations. The rate of interaction of velocity gradient on SHEAR stress results of the conformal mapping was determined by comparing the results of conformal mapping method with that of experimental results of direct SHEAR stress measurement. Investigations have shown that the effect of the velocity gradient decreases with increasing ASPECT RATIO, so that with increasing ASPECT RATIO from 1 to 20, the effect of the velocity gradient on the SHEAR stress of the BED has been reduced from 7 to 1 percent, AND in the WALL from 15 to 3 percent. Finally, measured values of SHEAR stress in the BED AND the WALL were introduced by presenting some equations.

Abstract: 

Scour at the shallow abutment foundation during floods is a common cause of bridge failure. In some cases, the BED is reinforced with riprap. There are several advantages AND disadvantages of using this method. One of the disadvantages of using flush riprap aprons with the BED is that heterogeneous roughness (riprap versus native BED materials) alters the flow AND manifesting as strong secondary currents. This flow can increase the SHEAR stress AND the scour depth in the unprotected BED. To study the subject, a conceptual model for determining the SHEAR stress RATIO in the unprotected BED in both with AND without riprap has been investigated. In developing the conceptual model, numerical simulation tests in a flexible BED have been used. Then, the validation of Flow3D numerical model is presented AND the mentioned model is used to simulate the flow in two cases with AND without riprap in the rigid BED. In a rigid BED compare to flexible BED, computational AND hardware costs are significantly reduced. The SHEAR stress RATIO in the unprotected BED is calculated AND the quadratic polynomial equation is fitted for different roughness RATIOs. The coefficient of determination in each case indicates the appropriate correlation of the stress RATIO in the two modes of flexible AND rigid BED.

Abstract: 

In Kant AND the Problem of Metaphysics (KPM), Heidegger shows how the initial image-making power of the imagination is pictorial in the pure image of time. He further clarifies the recognized link between the syntheses AND the time-visualizing power of images which is pictorial formative power, which can visualize time. The three syntheses of imagination are replaced with the modes of existence of Dasein. Three kinds of photographs resemble the images produced when the transcendental imagination functions as Dasein. We can address the ways to visualize time by considering Dasein with a photographic preoccupation through 1. A possible look in the form of presentation (a photograph shows an immediate look of a house or person as intuitable this-here); 2. An immediate look of the thing, house, or deceased person, as well as a copy or its reproduction as a death mask; AND, 3. The manner of contemplation of a likeness is an immediate look of a being present in the form of representation.

Abstract: 

Background: The expansion of the use of audio AND video media technology has faced society with many medical, cultural AND economic challenges. In the meantime, excessive use of mobile phones can cause many problems. Objective: The aim of this study was to construct AND validate a questionnaire on physical AND psychological injuries of mobile phones. Method: The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational AND confirmatory factor analysis. The statistical population of the study consisted of all citizens of Khorramabad with a diploma or higher in 1399, which was selected as a statistical sample by available sampling method of 200 people online AND virtual. Results: The results showed that the factorized physical AND psychological harm questionnaire of cell phone with 42 questions AND 10 components (fear of loss, vibRATIOn syndrome, duck syndrome, nomophobia, insomnia, hearing problem, eye syndrome, tunnel AND neck syndrome SMS) AND has good reliability, validity AND flexibility in terms of psychometrics. Discussion AND Conclusion: The questionnaire of factor analysis of physical AND psychological injuries of mobile phones can be used to identify AND study the physical AND psychological injuries of mobile phones.

Abstract: 

2The current research was conducted with the aim of compiling AND validating the educational package of the 10th grade religion AND life lesson based on Choice Theory. The research method for the stage of designing AND compiling the educational package was descriptive-analytical method mixed . The main themes of the training package AND the time required for training were taken from written sources such as the model of G schools AND internal AND external research projects. To validate the package, while using the face validity method, the content validity method was used in a qualitative AND quantitative way. It was used with a panel of 14 experts. 14 experts were considered as the statistical population, 10 of them were in the field of psychology, two were in the field of curriculum planning, AND two were in the field of education. In addition, two relative coefficients of content validity AND content validity index were used. The minimum AND maximum relative content validity coefficients for each item of the package were calculated as 1 AND 0.71, AND the content validity index in most sessions reached the number (0.85) for all goals in the educational protocol. The results revealed that the educational package of the Religion AND Life lesson based on Choice Theory for 10th grade students have good formal AND content validity AND has the necessary validity for educational applications AND research use.
